Below is what was written or told to us:

A little info about Kimber, we got her as a puppy (she is now 4) and she has had some training from a military dog trainer. She is a very active dog, would do great with anyone who can give her walks/outside time regularly, or even a job like agility courses, but equally, she wants to snuggle.

She is super treat motivated so, she’s easy to train and likes to learn new things (and being both a cattle dog and border collie, she is super smart and catches on fast). She can be a bit of a barker, but we use a bark collar when we see fit. I do think that is a behavior that would change if she was getting the right attention.

She has never shown anyone signs of aggression. She is UTD on all of her shots and spayed, weighs between 35-40 lbs., and has been to kennels to be boarded when we’ve gone on vacays and whatnot. She has lived her whole life with our GSD, but I personally think she would thrive if she was the only dog in the house. I don’t think she would do great in a house with cats or with very small children (she does great with our nieces and nephews who are 4 and up due to her activity level).

It is very important to us that she goes somewhere where the adopters understand this is not a dog who can just sit idly in the house all day and who has a small understanding of this breed. We had a baby a few months ago and quite frankly, I have developed some serious anxiety about the dog being near her. She has never been aggressive in any way, but she has a hard time calming down enough to where I feel comfortable.

Courtesy Post for Owner means we are offering our website as an additional outlet to help an owner find their dog a new home. It doesn't mean we've met or evaluated the dog, it just means we are trying to help this owner find a loving home.

Courtesy Post for ___ Rescue or Rescuer means we are offering our website as an additional outlet to help that rescue get more exposure to the dog they are trying to place. Again, we have not met nor evaluated the dog we are posting.
