We're calling him Cubby Bear

This is what his Angel writes:
I found a mastiff puppy in the road.  He had a vacc tag on and I went to the vets to trace the number. A lady called me today and said she had gotten calls before and she had previously given him away. I found him running in the middle of the road with no concern for traffic and he looks very skinny. He is a typical active puppy. . . . Goes by the commands of sit, down and paw.
He appears to be house broken. I have called all the animal shelters around and no one will take him, I have asked everyone I know, friends have asked people they know as well as people on the street. If I cannot find him a home very soon I will have to take him to the dog pound. I very much so do not want to do that, I am a huge animal lover and I am afraid he will get put to sleep. I can't let that happen, he is too young and too freakin cute. Please please email me and let me know if you can take him or if you know someone who can. Thanks.

...Yes he is neutered, and he loves to play with other non-aggressive dogs. I guess the dog was dropped off on her doorstep as a little puppy and when her landlord found out she had him, she had to get rid of him. She says she gave him to her neighbor who then moved to Las Vegas.. The only thing she could assume is that they left him.. She said she isn't allowed to take him back... He is very thin. Even after what he as been through he is just the sweetest thing. He is too active and big for me to have him around my son. I think all he needs is a stable loving home and he will settle down, also because he is a puppy he still has great potential to learn house rules.  He is around 15 mos. old and named Bear.
