Give Chance another chance at a Furr-ever Home!

Lost and wandering around, Chance was picked up by the Stark County Dog Warden and taken to the pound with 60 other dogs to await his fate of adoption or euthanasia.

Chance is about 7 years old and was dirty, stinky and had matted hair. Who would adopt him?

A Golden Treasures volunteer pulled him from the dog pound, took him to a groomer, and then to a vet, and found that under all that matted hair was a beautiful, healthy and gentle dog.

Chance is neutered, has all his shots and is in a foster home, awaiting his furr-ever adoptive home. He lives with other dogs and gets along fine, but does not like cats. His favorite things are playing with the other dogs and sleeping!

If you are interested in adopting him, contact his foster parents, Judith or Joy, at 330-484-9536 for more information. There is a minimal adoption fee along with an adoption application and personal references.

Can you resist this smile or this sad face who is waiting for his “furr”-ever home?
