When we list a dog as a "Courtesy Post" we have no control over that dog's destination.  Courtesy Post for Owner means we are trying to help an owner find their dog a new home. Courtesy Post for ___ Rescue means we are offering our website as an additional outlet to help that rescue get more exposure to the dog they are trying to place.

Courtesy Post for Owners

Baron about 3 years old.

Baron's family is moving and Baron can't go with them, this is what we're told:

We have a female Rotti (River) that is a bit older than Baron that has been fixed and a small younger pug / miniature pincer mix (Roxo) that is male and fixed.  That said, Baron is by far the most submissive one in the bunch.
Roxo uses him as a chew toy and Baron seems to like it even though Roxo is 3 times smaller than Baron, Baron will lay on his back for him while they play on a daily basis.

Baron is very good with all other dogs big or small and I would bet he would do much better in a home with another dog.
Cats on the other hand, he likes to chase and bark at. I truly believe he would never hurt one. We have two cats we have had longer than the dogs and they stand up to the dogs, then run off, they don't like the dogs!

Baron loves all people and kids. Only problem is he likes to jump when he is excited.
Baron is crate trained and we would provide his crate for his new home. He is very good with going into his crate before the other dogs. Probably because it is usually followed with a treat.
