When we list a dog as a "Courtesy Post" we have no control over that dog's destination. Courtesy Post for Owner means we are trying to help an owner find their dog a new home. Courtesy Post for ___ Rescue means we are offering our website as an additional outlet to help that rescue get more exposure to the dog they are trying to place.
Courtesy Post for Someone that Cares

This is what we have been told:
My name is Pam and a co-worker of mine has a German Shepherd that needs rescued. Her parents are going through a divorce and they have put the burden of getting rid of the dog on her. The dog has been neglected and will need some medical attention ASAP! Altho he is neutered.
Debbie, thanks for getting back with me. The German Shepherd is a 4 year old male and good with everyone. Needs some love, doesn't like being neglected. He
is covered in fleas, losing his fur and has some sores and is pretty
skinny. He whines all the time. This poor dog is being neglected from the result of divorce and foreclosure. It breaks my heart that I can't find a
home for him. I would take him but I already have 3 of my own dogs.
He is living inside. As for flea meds, the house he lives in is infested with fleas so I doubt they would work. I am having no luck finding someone to take him temporary bases. Again thank you so much for your help. They said he is good with other
dogs, kids and cats.
