GOOD NEWS, HE HAS AN ADOPTION IS PENDING

Dawg

This is what she writes about him:

Hi I have a 3 year old German Shepherd that I just can't keep anymore. He was a dog of a patient of mine that passed away and I was going to give him a home but he is not getting along with my Malinois or my cats.

Deb asks: more info - age, is he neutered, current on shots, how is he with kids?
Sounds like he can't go with other dogs either?

He is current on shots and neutered, he is GREAT with kids LOVES to play... He does get along with other dogs, it is just since my grandson was born he and the other dogs fight who is going to protect the baby. He is not good with cats though. He likes to chase them. Of course i will say that my cats like to torment him so he will chase them... so it might just be my cats... they are the first he has ever been around. One thing also he is NOT crate trained , he has been in one but you must force him into it, this is because at his former home he was NEVER in one and his owner had him since he was a pup. He walks well on a leash but if he is loose he will run. He will not leave his neighborhood most of the time not even his yard, but he will not let you catch him, to catch him we either just leave the door open and he comes in when he wants too or we get him to follow the car and open the car door and he gets in (he LOVES car rides and is well behaved in them).
